This is a video I created after the death of a friend. Dan Marks was a mountain a man but with a sweet patient spirit, a spry wit and a prolific gift for writing songs. He passed away a few months ago and I filmed this two days later with his only son Stephen. This is one of those videos that you never want to make but when the time comes, it’s a real honor to be able to capture the moment for a family. It is highly likely that the digital content we create will easily outlive us and I like to think that Stephen’s grand kids are going to see this 60 years from now and know a little bit more about their grandfather and his love for his dad.
